I'm still waiting for a version that combines the Dreamcast music and the GC tweaks, whether it's an official port/remake or a fan patch. I'm kind of surprised something like that hasn't happened yet. The music is always brought up when you mention the game.

Seems like one of those JRPG's I definitely should have played by now. I'll put it like this, I bothered to 100% the game, and that's something I almost never do, especially for an RPG. SoA:L was pure bliss, although even the 'Cube version still has a high encounter rate (still better than the DC's insane one). I wouldn't bother with the DC version, primarily because it's missing the excellent additional content of the 'Cube version. I'm talking entire new side missions, two new subplots, plus lots of little extra stuff all over the game. I'm still waiting for a version that combines the Dreamcast music and the GC tweaks, whether it's an official port/remake or a fan patch. Ideally a PC port that combines the best aspects of both versions would be my wish. If only Sega cared.

Thanks guys. I want to try Lodoss, but with Christmas coming I won't have the time. I'm thinking of trying Marvel vs Capcom 2, but I'm open to suggestions if anyone has some =)

paulofthewest : MvC2 is absolutely fantastic. But if you prefer slightly more traditional Capcom fighters, Capcom vs. SNK 2 also makes for good times. lurkei : I'm surprised that hasn't happened yet, honestly! You'd think with all the ISO loading capabilities on Gamecube and Wii that a hack like that would exist. (Listened to a comparison, and whoa. Yeah, they really reduced the audio quality on the GC. I assume it was to get it to fit on the one disc. Sounds like the same source material, though, just heavily downsampled.) Ex : Project Justice is pretty solid. I still remember taking on my cousin, who destroyed me for 14 fights in a row until I found the "shoto" character, then I proceeded to destroy her for 14 fights in a row and then we quit and called it a draw. I don't think either of us were having much fun at that point.

Ex I will have to check those out. Sarge ya, I usually prefer the zany fighters over serious/traditional. Guilty Gear comes to mind =)

I've got four hours invested in Blue Submarine No. 6: Saigetsu Fumahito - Time and Tide thus far, and am greatly enjoying it. It reminds me of a mix of Everblue and AquaNox. I will be taking a break though, to go back and (hopefully) finish that dang Berserk game soon.

I'm now nearing 10 hours in Blue Submarine No.6, quite enjoying this one. No idea how long the game is... but I'll keep diving and salvaging and killing sea creatures till the credits. - Anybody else still playing DC for this month?

I've fallen off the wagon a bit, between two games I'm currently playing. But I just finished one of 'em, so I may be getting back on board soon.

My personal goal this month was to finish 5 DC games. So far I've finished 2, and I will finish Berserk, so that'll be 3. Blue Submarine .06 will make 4. I just didn't realize this particular game was going to be as long as it is. Not that I'm complaining.
