Ex: Whew, guess I was being really generous with my score. I'm curious as to how that escape sequence plays out on normal - not sure if easy adjusts that sequence or not.

I have no idea if that sequence is altered via Easy, I sure hope it is. What I do know now, is that anyone giving Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage a high score, was either a Berserk fanboy who beat it on Easy, or a Berserk fanboy who never actually finished the game.

The boss you pictured was absolutely horrible, I'll say that. And it could just be I got really lucky with that escape sequence. I wish I had my old save, but apparently saving after you beat it wipes out your progress... and there's no way I'm playing through it again. Decent is the absolute tops I'd give it.

Can't even tell what I'm looking at with that final boss picture haha. A tree or some seaweed? But yeah I'm confident that this confirms of the two old Berserk games I used to hear about, the PS2 entry is apparently the really good one. Hopefully so! "Yuke's" definitely raises a red flag...
On another note, does Blue Stinger seriously only have like one BGM track throughout the entire game?

Both, actually. You run down obstruction strewn hallways full of paralyzing seaweed, towards a camera so you can't see what you're running up on, while giant tree roots chase you. If the roots touch you, it's automatic death. If you die too many times, you have to start all over again, meaning you have to beat a boss again too. It's just awful. The game is a shit show.

Anyways, I'm hoping to still hit up some DC this weekend. I've had Rayman 2 on my mind and I think Sarge beat that one this year even. And liked it?

Yeah, Rayman 2 is solid. I gave it a 7.5. It won't set the 3D platformer world on fire, but it is a well-made example of the genre... minus that final boss battle that I did not care for.

I did enjoy the game though, but the game lacked polish. Ex Huh, well I'll probably still play Beserk next month (loved the anime as a kid). Now I'll have right expectations.

This ain't a pro longplay, also showcases how bad this part really is) Okay so that video must have been on Easy. On Normal there's more seaweed and the root march moves in considerably faster. Huh. well I'll probably still play Beserk next month (loved the anime as a kid). Now I'll have right expectations. This sums up my experience with the game perfectly: Good luck man.
