It's downright ridiculous how fast the core has progressed. Amazing stuff.

Finally gave in and ordered a proper USB 2.1 board for my MiSTer. No more passive USB hub for me! Also ordered a combo wireless/Bluetooth dongle, which should be very useful for updating and file transfer, plus I'm pretty sure I'll be able to directly connect the Series X controller via Bluetooth. (If not, I'll just use one of the 8BitDo adapters instead.)

Sounds like nice upgrades. I'm still waiting on the metal case I ordered two weeks ago. It's on the slow boat from China apparently.

Apparently srg320 has released a 32X core despite being in a warzone in Ukraine. Gonna check it out soon.

Interesting, I wonder if that 32X core would have enough versatility to replicate a Saturn.

I suspect it was derived from his work on the Saturn core. There's more in common there than you'd think.

There's more in common there than you'd think. Not more than I'd think, that's why I suggested as such.

Heh, good point. I know you're knowledgeable about these things, especially Sega-related stuff.
