Irem M92 arcade core dropped. Includes games like In the Hunt, Gunforce 1/2, and Undercover Cops.

For anyone that was interested in the Apple II, the MiSTer core finally supports write support for disks. Very cool stuff, I'd love to dive into the Apple II versions of some older RPGs.

I heard about this somewhere last night. Obviously won't be possible on the MiSTer, but could maybe happen on whatever replaces that.

Not MiSTer, but there's apparently a new FPGA board in town. twitter.com/MARSFPGAApparently built around the EFINIX Titanium FPGA (Ti180M484) with 176,256 LEs and integrated memory and more BRAM. Not sure what the upper limit will be on this one, but I'd bet on N64 being easily within reach. Although Robert Peip is working on N64 for MiSTer as well, and it's coming right along!

I'd like to know who was doing their core development - I don't have a lot of faith in Hyperkin to be honest. And maybe they're banking on someone else's open-source work. They might even be using (or planning to use) Sergey Dvodnenko's MiSTer core.
