A tree of sheer, utter, evil my friend. "THE LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE MEAN NOTHING!" ExDeath doesn't care about becoming a God. Ruling the world. Or any of those cliche's, he aims to bring the universe back to absolute nothingness, erasing all existence, even destroying himself in the process. He rips dimensional holes through worlds, has Gilgamesh at his side, a whole gang of legendary demonic beasts, and races the heroes to find all those legendary weapons with excellent, intense epic pacing in the third act. The first major encounter fighting him at his initial castle is tough too. One Hell of a dungeon too, looks like he was maybe a fan of Doom.
Be tree-ist all you want, you can't deny this man his fine tastes with his attire and looks much cooler than Kefka or Sephy and is an actual challenge to duel!

Erasing all existence is literally just as cliched as conquering the world. A ton of RPG evil gods / villains have that same goal. And it's the dumbest goal of all because they themselves exist. At least conquering the world would have some benefits.
The biggest problem with FFV is it feels like it was written by about 5 people in different rooms who never talked to each other. It's just so disjointed and weak. Also has the lamest character death this side of Grandia 2, with a character dying for no reason and being instantly replaced by a relative with the exact same stats. Geez, quite a sense of loss, there.
The armor does look cool, though.

Well, a lot throw a caveat in about erasing existence and remaking it in their image. But yeah, some villains are like as Alfred describes The Joker in The Dark Knight: "Some men just want to watch the world burn."

The perk to playing FF7 again in 2020... the G's out there have mastered how to acquire a Gold Chocobo effortlessly. I didn't race once. Got one in 20 minutes.

That Metako guy is speedrunning Final Fantasy 1-15 again (sans the two MMO's)... his last marathon ran 92 hours.

his last marathon ran 92 hours Surely this guy took naps right? I don't think it'd be humanly possible to play 92 consecutive hours. Unless he was snorting coke and smoking meth while playing.

I forget if he takes a power nap or few along the way, but the entire thing is live and he's done it a few times now. Preps a bunch of meals, takes off work (I don't think streaming is his main gig) and all that haha. He makes it seem like not a huge deal, so maybe he's got that weird gene and can stay up forever.
On the flipside I saw someone doing DQ1-9 awhile back and the guy looked like he was dying near the end 80 hours in, I hope that person maybe never does this again. There was someone with his phone number and a moderator or something that could monitor him, but yeah it was weird.
But yeah this Metako guy makes this stuff look easy. He did FF1-13 a few times and then added in FF15 last year or something, which is only like a 5 hour run.
Your favorite, FF12 looks like one of the RNG heaviest and trickiest ones to run, along with FF13 which can be pretty brutal.
I think for FF6 he uses a warp glitch to skip the majority of the game. It still kicks out the credits or something like that and it's legit hardware, so I guess it counts. I think he uses some kind of exp trick in FF3 as well.
EDIT: He's been live for 11:02:45 so far, next to the red viewer count in the bottom right on Twitch you can see how long someone has been streaming.

XeogredI do not understand the appeal of wanting to marathon series like this in succession for a torturous duration of time. Nor do I understand the appeal of wanting to watch someone else do as such. However, I acknowledge the fortitude it takes to do such a thing. And if doing so generates money for charities, then it's a noble endeavor.
