I liked the sim parts, though I guess they're too simple to constitute a full game. Me too.
I recall sitting in my high school's cafeteria reading a GameFan back in 1993, and distinctly remember the sense of palpable disappointment when I learned that ActRaiser 2 ditched the sim parts. That's a big reason I've still not played more than five minutes of it to this day.

ActRaiser 2 certainly changes the formula, and I do think it suffered for not having those sim elements. I still recommend it, though, if you want a tough-as-nails platformer in the Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts vein. I have a lot of respect for it now, even if it kinda fails as a sequel.

Ion Maiden is now Ion Fury thanks to the music industry.
I don't mind.

Shame on Iron Maiden, but yeah that's a nice alternative name anyways. And our wait paid off, next month! I'm freaking all over this, looks incredible. And it looks more DUKE than Shadow Warrior/Blood to me.

Iron Maiden sucks. That was a great name for a game. I guess they just didn't want to jump through all the legal hoops, and I can't say I blame them. Not the hill you want to die on.

Huh, never even heard of that one. Looks pretty slick. Time to add it to the list!

In case any of you guys haven't played Mega Man 11 already, it's totally legit and well worth your time. I beat it in May of this year. It was so good that I don't regret buying it brand new at Gamestop. I'm kind of incredulous that it came out, because it really feels like something from another era (especially after the disappointment of Mighty Number 9.)

I liked it. I wasn't floored by it, but it's a solid 8/10, easy. And I've seen it on sale for a good bit cheaper than its debut $40 price, which was still worth it. I mean, it's on Amazon right now for PS4 at under $20, and that's totally worth it.
I want to see them build on this, because I'd love to see the classic series get more love again. I watched the run at SGDQ, and was pretty impressed by what I saw!
