Cool stuff. I always like it when I stumble across PC games in thrift stores.

Mindjack Xbox 360 (released 2011) $16.99 brand new sealed free ship Amazon -This game got bad reviews and was considered a flop for SQEX (though it was developed by FeelPlus). I bought it because it's a third person shooter where you can jump around into the bodies of enemies and control them. Kind of like The 3rd Birthday and Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy. Might be a C-tier laugh fest, but hey I'll give it a shot some decade. Also, bought Xbox 360 disc-only copies of Army of Two (2008) and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel (2013), for about $12 free ship via eBay. My wife and I previously beat these games many years ago; I'd like to play through them again with her. Mainly because she's better at gaming now than she used to be, so she'll enjoy them more this time around. These are parts 1 and 3 of the AoT trilogy, I didn't bother buying part 2 The 40th Day (2010) again, because according to my HLTB that one was not so good.

Mindjack is a game I considered when looking into 3rd person shooters. The most obvious issue, at a glance, is that it takes way too many shots to kill enemies. Even with headshots at human targets, you have to shoot them like five times. But I'd try if I owned a 360, for sure.

takes way too many shots to kill enemies This is a big issue I have with Killzone (which I'm nearly finished with thankfully), even the lowest enemies are absolute bullet sponges. Unload a full clip into a scrub dude and he just walks it off.

Got some retro games for the first time in awhile. I've already mentioned how much I love the early Chunsoft VNs. Well, I never actually owned any until now. Both were about $6 a pop on eBay, local US seller. Noice. As for Journey to Silius.... always wanted it, finally bought it. Simple as. Moar import VNs. Obviously not the best Sega CD games, but I found them cheap and local and no way was I going to pass them up.

Nice haul. Journey to Silius has one of the best NES OSTs. Some of the most booming bass you can get out of a NES game. Glad Sunsoft salvaged it even after the Terminator license fell through. If you ever play through that J.B. Harold game, it'll be interesting to see what you think of its plot. I considered playing it before, but there's some asinine stuff in its game design that dissuaded me. Mainly that the game runs with a clock timer, meaning if you don't do certain things at the right time, or aren't at the right place at the right time, your playthrough is screwed - start over! After beating Rise of the Dragon I swore never to put up with that again.

I recognize Otogirisou in the first pic. That's the original "sound novel" that was recently fan-translated. I briefly checked it out, seemed like a good translation.

Yeah, while I think Journey to Silius isn't quite as good as some others in Sunsoft's catalog, that soundtrack is banging.
